Excellent Glassy Fluorite Calcite Dolomite Combo Spain 123g

This is an excellent, higher quality combo of glassy, primarily transparent cubic yellow Fluorite with complex growth Calcite and well formed rhombohedral, saddle shaped Dolomite. Chalcopyrite is evident within the Fluorite and on the high luster, stepped surface of the crystals.  A terrific mingling of multiple minerals with rich, deep yellow Fluorite that is honey-like in color, representative of a higher quality specimen! 2.64" x 1.86" x 1.35" or 67.2mm x 47.2mm x 34.3mm  Fluoresces beautifully when exposed to UV light. The Fluorite on this superb example from Spain exhibits excellent luster and form.  123 grams.

Source / location: Moscona Mine, El Ponton de Solis, Corvera de Asturias, Asturias, Spain.

The gorgeous yellow Fluorite in this piece exhibits with fascinating zoning. There appears to be an inclusion of another mineral in the Calcite.  And the Calcite displays an unusual hollowed structure on one side, and as if a portion of the crystal separated to become another Calcite crystal...definitely not broken...from the hollowed out area of the larger Calcite crystal...why we describe the overall presentation as complex in growth. A tiny Fluorite crystal grew within the hollow space of the larger Calcite crystal!
